CINDY SHELTON
Cindy Shelton is a versatile and dynamic entertainer from Winston-Salem,
NC. Music has always been a big part of her life, largely inspired by her
mother, and was involved in musical theatre. She attended the prestigious
N.C. School of the Arts for her 10 th grade year, studying piano. Influenced by
everyone from The Carpenters to Barbra Streisand to Aretha Franklin and
Whitney Houston, she moved to Nashville and developed the craft of live
performing, beginning at Opryland Theme Park. In the studio, Cindy has
sung on numerous jingles (Toyota, NBC, Harley-Davidson, Direct Insurance,
Chevrolet, NFL, etc.), songwriter demos and Grammy-award winning
albums.
Cindy has performed as a backup vocalist on the Grand Ole Opry, The
Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Farm Aid (with Willie Nelson and Lee Ann
Womack), A Capitol Fourth (with Aretha Franklin and Chuck Berry in
Washington DC), CMA Awards, etc. She’s performed on stage and in the
studio with classic artists such as Alabama, Trisha Yearwood, Rick
Springfield, Paul Rodgers (Bad Company), Mickey Thomas (Starship), Mike
Reno (Loverboy), Lou Gramm (Foreigner), Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, CeCe
Winans, and numerous others in all genres of music.
David Burch grew up in Knoxville Tennessee starting his musical journey by taking up the drums at age 11. After many years of private lessons he decided to get his degree in music at the University of Tennessee where he got his BA in studio music and jazz studying with some of the greats such as Keith Brown and Jerry Coker. David moved to Nashville in 95′ where he dove into the music scene playing clubs and playing sessions as well as hitting the road with many major Christian artists such as Matthew Ward, Jaci Velasquez, Greg Long, Clay Cross, Phil Keaggy and many others. David is still in demand for his drumming while raising his family of 5 with his wife of 19 years Ann Rose.
Bob Marinelli brings the bottom from Detroit, MI before moving to Nashville, TN. Bob has played with Beth Hart, Mick Fleetwood, Waylon Jennings, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, Doris Day and many others.
David Lowry was first attracted to the guitar at the young age of twelve. By the age of fifteen he had surpassed many teenagers’ wildest dreams as he performed regularly in bars as a part of various cover bands emulating rock icons such as Winger, Slaughter, Firehouse, Bone Angels, XYZ and Johnny Lang. During the early years of his career David also held the position of “guitar tech” for Shrapnel recording artist Todd Duane, David’s primary guitar instructor, as well as R&B Billboard chart toppers Mint Condition. Deftly skilled in all areas of music, from the technical to the creative, David has also worked with some of the Minneapolis Jazz legends on charting projects for the local jazz scene while developing a personal teaching curriculum for guitar theory. A graduate of Musicians Technical Training Institute in Minneapolis, MN in 1996, David has expanded his reach in the music industry to record music for HeadGames Publishing, now Activision Value on their best selling series of games for PC with Matt Fink (Dr. Fink) formerly of Prince and the Revolution.
David joined Difference United in 2006, a new creative outlet immediately launched a tour through the Eastern European country of Romania. Since then the band has toured the United States, China and India.
In 2020 David joined Winds of Change – A Tribute to Jefferson Starship and then formed Le Bel Age – A Tribute to Pat Benatar. In 2021, David became the lead guitar player for the up and coming artist Dylan Jarvis.
