Club Fantasci

Welcome to Club Fantasci, the book club taking the stigma out of speculative fiction. We want to expose you to the full gamut of the speculative fiction genre, including science fiction, hard SF, militaristic SF, high/epic fantasy, dark fantasy, dystopian, cyberpunk, steampunk, space opera, paranormal, urban fantasy, SFF romance and erotica, and everything in between.

We want to educate readers on good writing in speculative fiction, entertain with witty banter, and above all have a fantastic time. Fiction need not be literary to be well-written, and good writing need not be boring or mundane! We promise you we’ll do our best to bring you a good book every month, and if not, we’ll tell you why it’s not! For a bit of light fun, we’ll also be featuring a wine of the month and picking a song that best fits the book. So bring your book, keep that wineglass topped up, and don’t forget your i-pod!

Most of what happens with “Club Fantasci” will be on Good Reads so please join us there!

David Lowry

David Lowry

David Lowry was first attracted to the guitar at the young age of twelve. By the age of fifteen he had surpassed many teenagers’ wildest dreams as he performed regularly in bars as a part of various cover bands emulating rock icons such as Winger, Slaughter, Firehouse, Bone Angels, XYZ and Johnny Lang. Shannon Million

Shannon Million

Shannon Million was conceived on a summer night in Munich, Germany.  Her destiny was imbued with an American spirit drenched in European culture.  This raven-haired doll inherited her Texas mother’s beauty, her Boston father’s athleticism and the fierce-passion of both.  A typical Piscean herself, Shannon is dramatically creative, exceptionally compassionate, intuitive and sympathetic – traits she expresses through her dual roles as a dance performer and all around funny gal.  Shannon spent the majority of her childhood years living in Texas and summering in Massachusetts.  An avid athlete and student of dance, literature, comedy and communications, Shannon studied at various universities including an eventual stint as a writer at Oxford University in England.  During her studies, Shannon followed in her parent’s footsteps and ventured across Europe to Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Brussels, Wales and France making friends everywhere she went.  While singing in the streets of Dublin, absorbing the culture of Florence, and dancing in the streets of Paris, Shannon began to create the vision that would become her future as a writer, dancer, designer, model and lover of life.

Love brought Shannon Million to Nashville and to the PinUp and modeling world… love for music, love for people, love for dance, love for beauty in all its forms.  But her unique ability to portray and showcase the beautiful purity of the PinUp culture made her stand out from the crowd.  Shannon’s passion shows in everything she does.  She is a lover of people, a strong-minded energetic force of femininity, and a helpless flirt.  Shannon is the Nashville correspondent for Pin Up America Magazine and her new website will launch soon:
